Dean McDonald brings many years of accounting and marketing experience to his profession. He attended Florida State University majoring in business administration with a minor in accounting.

Dean began his first business in the insurance industry. After five successful years, he then started a second business in the commercial cleaning industry for another six. His leadership and experience yielded consistent yearly growth. Dean’s background as a former business owner has provided him with a thorough understanding of the complexities of business ownership, which further enables him to serve his clients.

As an active and dedicated member of the M&A Source, Dean currently serves as Chairman of the Member Benefits Committee and is a valued Board Member. Also, a member of the International Business Brokers Association and a certified instructor for both associations, he has co-authored many courses throughout his membership.

Dean holds numerous industry specific certifications; the (CBI) Certified Business Intermediary designation, the (CM&AP) Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Professional designation, and the (M&AMI) Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary certification. Dean was also awarded the Fellow of the IBBA and the Fellow of the M&A Source. The Fellow of the IBBA and Fellow of the M&A Source is awarded to members with a minimum of ten years certification who have made significant association contributions. Dean earned the 2023 Platinum Club award from the M&A Source for completing deals over $15 million in enterprise value. Dean holds a Georgia real estate broker’s license.

 

In his free time, Dean enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife Julie.
